Master Chief attempts to clean The Covenant from the face of the earth.....in HALO 2 !!!! Posted by Hello

Earth Will Never Be The Same

So I've spent the last three days fighting The Covenant & The Flood trying to save earth...and I have one last mission before I am done. I am at the start of the last level of HALO 2 and I decided to stop now and save the end for tomorrow. There are some really cool surprises in the story and the game-play that I won't spoil here.

Do I like HALO 2? YOU BET!

I am a huge fan of the original HALO: COMBAT EVOLVED and HALO 2 takes the premise to the next level and as the stakes are raised so is the overall coolness of the game. You have more weapons, more vehicles, MUCH larger maps to make your way through while defending yourself against much bigger and badder enemies. In addition to the return of the Grunts, Jackals, Elites & Hunters you now take on Brutes & Prophets! The Brutes are tough!!!

Gameplay is much harder on Normal Difficulty as compared to the original HALO on the same setting, it's NOT a walk in the park....and that's the way I like it.

So all this HALO 2 gaming over the last few days has helped take my mind off the pain of the stone and nephrostomy tube...so I got that going for me....which is nice.

I have yet to jump on Xbox Live and go Multiplayer, and that's because I didn't want any numbnut on Live to spoil the Campaign story for me before I finished Single Player mode, but when I finish I'll watch the Bonus DVD that came with the Collector's Edition (nice tin case BTW!) and go Live to join in online ass-whooping. I can't wait.

I highly recommend getting to a game retailer near you and picking up HALO 2 (Collector's Edition is only $5 more and with the beautiful tin case and 2nd DVD it's a bargain over the standard game-only edition) and if you've never played HALO....shame on you! Go get that too....and if you don't have an Xbox - Blasphemer!

HALO & HALO 2 more than justify the cost of buying the whole Xbox system!!!
