I seem to have oodles of time, but it never works for me, always against me.
I finally heard from my urologists office about the next step in my surgery to remove my kidney stone; I go into the hospital again on October 27, 3 weeks from today. Three weeks more of this nephrostomy tube sticking out of my back and preventing me from getting any decent sleep or comfort. Just my luck. Three weeks, if it were a vacation I'd be very happy, to me it's a 3 week extension of my sentence being a captive of pain.
I go in and am admitted on Wednesday, October 27 at 9am (Radiology will most likely replace the tube with a larger tube for the procudure) and on Thursday, October 28 I will undergo the procedure itself to have the stone broken up and removed.
Will this be the end of it all? Doubtful.
I'm sure something will go wrong, from something simple to an infection to possibly something more serious (I wouldn't be surprised if I lost the kidney altogether).
Watched The Ladykillers last night, here's the Review.
